Not sure if I’m just super unlucky or the drop rate is worse for the claymore, because I got three shield drops from the blue knight before it while trying to farm the sword. They also have high stat requirements. The Claymore is nice because it has lower stat requirements, and Faith builds don't want to put too much into unnecessary stats. Claymore can go Crushing and Blessed but flamberge cant. Flamberge can go Sharp and Crescent but Claymore cant.
